Web & Digital Media Intern (Hybrid – Remote + Community Outreach)

Join Community of Grace Organization (COGO), a Frederick-based nonprofit supporting women and children in recovery. This internship offers hands-on experience in website management, digital storytelling, social media outreach, and creating digital/print materials such as flyers and T-shirt graphics. Most work is remote, with occasional in-person support for community events and outreach.

Responsibilities:

Update and maintain COGO’s website (WordPress/other CMS).

Design flyers, promotional materials, and event graphics.

Create T-shirt graphics and branded merchandise designs.

Assist with social media content, posting, and engagement.

Support digital storytelling efforts (photos, videos, event recaps).

Provide tech/media support for online and in-person community events.

Qualifications:

Current student in Web/Digital Media, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.

Familiarity with website platforms (WordPress preferred) and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Creative, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills and comfort working independently.

Learning Outcomes:

Build a professional portfolio with web, social media, and graphic design projects.

Gain real-world nonprofit communications and outreach experience.

Develop project management and teamwork skills in a mission-driven environment.
