 ABA Student Program – Launch Your Career Helping Kids with Autism

Are you passionate about helping kids and interested in a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? At ABYay!, we offer a one-of-a-kind, comprehensive ABA Student Program that helps you grow from hands-on beginner to confident future BCBA — all with tons of support, mentorship, and real-world experience.

What Makes This Program Different?

This isn’t your typical internship. Our student program is designed to grow with you — you’ll start with direct work with clients and end up confidently leading treatment and supporting families. Along the way, you’ll get personalized mentorship, paid training, and lots of opportunities to build your skills.

At ABYay, we take training the next generation of BCBAs seriously. Our program is intentionally structured to make sure you get hands-on experience with every part of what’s expected from a fully fledged BCBA — from data analysis and program design to parent training, assessment, and supervision. And you won’t be doing it alone — you’ll be supported every step of the way by a multi-level team including your BCBA supervisor, a dedicated Student Coordinator, and the broader ABYay leadership team.

 

Phase-by-Phase Growth

Phase 1 – Master the Basics
Start as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), learning how ABA works, understanding company policies, and getting familiar with the BACB guidelines — all with your BCBA mentor by your side.

Phase 2 – Build Real-World Skills
Keep doing direct work with clients while taking on new responsibilities like graphing data, helping with program development, and reviewing research. You’ll also start accruing unrestricted fieldwork hours — a key step toward your BCBA credential.

Phase 3 – Step Into a Leadership Role
Congratulations, you’re now an Assistant Behavior Consultant (ABC)! Your direct work decreases, and you’ll start shadowing supervisors, attending parent trainings and assessments, and gradually taking on more case responsibilities. Plus, you’ll receive a $120 stipend every paycheck.

Phase 4 – Take the Lead
By this stage, you’re running the show (with support when you need it). You’ll manage your own caseload, lead sessions, and complete assessments — all while preparing to pass your BCBA exam and launch your career.
