Fire & Oak is a new, upscale dining experience coming soon to Downtown Frederick. We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated team members who are passionate about great food, warm hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences. Food Runner

Wage: $15/hr + tips

As a Food Runner, you’ll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. You’ll act as the connection between the kitchen and the dining room—ensuring each plate reaches the table perfectly and every guest leaves impressed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests’ tables.
• Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
• Assist servers during peak hours to maintain efficient service.
• Ensure food presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional guest service.

Server

Wage: $3.63/hr + tips

We’re seeking experienced and customer-focused Servers to join our team. You’ll be the face of Fire & Oak—providing fine dining service, expert menu knowledge, and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and pairings.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth service flow.

Qualifications:

• Prior serving experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• A passion for hospitality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
