This is an Internship to full-time on-site role for a Trainee DevOps Engineer at RJ MEDEX in Germantown Maryland & Baltimore &Columbia MD. The Robotics Automation Engineer will be responsible for DevOps Implementation designing, implementing algorithms, developing and deploying machine learning models, and process automation in robotics systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or Mechanical Robotic Automation Engineers related field
  • Masters degree in Automation Engineering is PLUS
  • Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Knowledge Preferred.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and services
  • Automate application deployments across Dev / Stage / Production environments
  • Enable fast, reliable, and repeatable releases
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve build and release workflows
  • Implement rollback strategies and deployment automation
  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, EC2, Lightsail, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch
  • Provision and configure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Terraform / CloudFormation (preferred)
  • Manage compute, storage, and networking resources ,Implement environment isolation (Dev / Stage / Prod), Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost
  • Create CI/CD workflows for robotics, AI, and software systems
  • Containerize ML/DL models using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes
  • Implement model monitoring, performance tracking, and logging
  • Optimize models using ONNX, TensorRT, or GPU acceleration
  • Collaborate with Robotics, Software, and AI teams to integrate ML systems into production
  • Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable DevOps environments
  • Strong programming skills in relevant languages C++, DL & ML, Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Experience with Terraform, Docker, Git, Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Kubeflow)
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows and automation
  • Familiarity with Jetson, edge AI, or robotics is a plus
