Title: Marketing Intern
Location: Any Blue Ridge Risk Partners Office
Type: Temporary (12 weeks), Full-Time (37.5hrs/per week), Paid
Job Summary:
The Marketing Intern position is primarily responsible for assisting in and creating Blue Ridge Risk Partners’ social media content. They will manage content creation and focus on keyword research to aid in the growth of Blue Ridge’s brand awareness and thought leadership establishment. The Marketing Intern performs the essential functions of the position noted below, while meeting the quality and service standards developed by the agency.
Essential Functions:
- Creates and schedules social media content.
- Assist in sponsorship management.
- Keyword Research
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interpret abstract information.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Must be willing to take on or assist with digital solutions as they arise.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, ESPs or similar software.
- Knowledge of social media strategies and how to implement.
- Blogging and vlogging capabilities.
Education and Experience:
- Majoring in Communications, Business, or Marketing.
- Experience utilizing social media content scheduling platform in a plus.
