(Jecho Labs), a dynamic drug discovery company at the forefront of developing cutting-edge therapeutic biologics, including monoclonal and multi-specific antibodies, cytokines, immunotoxins, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and vaccines. Our research spans a broad spectrum of diseases, with a primary focus on cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. Jecho Labs is in Frederick Maryland.

We are currently seeking a Research Associate or Associate Scientist to join our R&D discovery team in Frederick, MD. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in essential techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology, and be a fast learner capable of mastering our state-of-the-art drug discovery platforms to support our expanding therapeutic pipeline.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct drug discovery activities using established platforms under the supervision of experienced scientists.
• Skilled in PCR, cloning, plasmid purification, and gel electrophoresis, ELISA, flow cytometry, biolayer interferometry (BLI), and cell culture.
• Maintain accurate and organized experimental records; analyze data and prepare scientific reports.
• Provide routine lab support, including preparing culture media and plates, and additional R&D activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field. 
• 0-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. 
• Hands-on experience in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Capable of performing physical activities, including occasionally lifting of objects up to 30 lbs and standing for prolonged periods.
