Dental Assistant – Part-Time (Growing to Full-Time)

Dental Den is a brand-new, modern dental office opening in Ashburn, VA, and we are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

This part-time role is a great opportunity to get in early with a state-of-the-art practice, with the potential to transition into a full-time position as the office continues to grow.

Position Details:

• Part-time position (with future full-time opportunity)
• Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday
• Competitive pay (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Take intraoral scans and clinical photos
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience required
• Comfortable assisting with a wide range of procedures, including restorative, endodontics (endo), surgical procedures, and Invisalign
• Self-directed individual who takes initiative and works proactively
• Willingness to learn and grow with the practice
• Proficiency in dental care, dentistry, and oral care practices
• Experience with sterilization techniques and maintaining a clean clinical environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
