Production Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Production Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant will provide administrative support to the production and operations department. They will assist with various tasks to ensure smooth operations. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain electronic job files to ensure all necessary paperwork is created, saved, and maintained electronically in the proper job file locations
  • Review Scope, Labor, and Material Orders provided by sales team for accuracy and determine additional questions or information needed to move forward with new job
  • Permits: Put together all data and submittals needed for building permits and file with appropriate locale
  • Assign and schedule Replacement and Repair jobs with Subcontractors
  • Schedule new jobs with customers / contacts and reschedule weather delays as needed
  • Prepare and deliver work orders and subcontractor agreements including pricing and scope and subcontractors
  • Assign QCs and prepare/deliver job information packets and other required documentation for Quality Control Managers
  • Manage (order, schedule, track, and call off) equipment to job sites for replacement jobs, including but not limited propane, fire extinguishers, roof cutters, lifts, cranes, portable restrooms, dumpsters
  • Prepare POs and order materials with suppliers/distributors and maintain CRM supplier invoicing daily
  • Handle warranty requests and register warranties 

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a construction company, roofing is preferred
  • Knowledge of construction terminology is a plus but not required
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
