Administrative Warehouse Intern: Responsible for supporting the Parts & Supplies department with daily duties.
* Able to work in the Gaithersburg office: 30 West Watkins Mill Road, Gaithersburg
Essential Duties:
- Check in materials and put away inventory
- Keep warehouse clean
- Load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment
- Assist with will-call and order entry
- Showroom replenishment
- General administrative duties
- Additional duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Available to work full time hours during Winter Break and part-time hours during Spring Semester
- Current high school, technical or college student
- High energy, self-starter, deadline and detail oriented, bright, organized, , follows instructions
- Hardworking, punctual, reliable, willing to learn, positive attitude
- Produces quality work
- Warehouse and inventory experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone, reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/ or move more than 100lbs with a device (pallet jack or hand truck)
