Human Resources Intern (Spring Semester)

HR Intern: Assist the HR Department with day-to-day operations.

* Able to work in the Gaithersburg office:

30 West Watkins Mill Road, Gaithersburg


 

Essential Duties:

- Assist in areas of compliance, benefits, recruiting, and professional development

- Maintain and update personnel files into HR database

- Audit and update professional development and records for associates

- Support recruiting and onboarding process

- Assist with driver warning program

- Assist with Keeping Comfortable Newsletter

- Assist with life event program

- Assist with department related projects

- Other duties as assigned


 

Requirements:

- High school graduate and currently seeking college degree

- Available to work Spring Semester, 15 hours per week

- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Administrative experience is a plus

- Organized, extremely detail oriented, multi-tasker, accurate with data entry

- Assertive, self-starter, responsive

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Able to lift 25 lbs
