Wild Sprouts is a nature-based organization dedicated to providing immersive outdoor learning experiences for children from birth to 15 years old. Our programs incorporate lessons in math, literacy, science, and art through hands-on exploration in nature. Set against the scenic backdrop of Hope Valley Farm in Knoxville, MD, we welcome families from Frederick County, Washington County, and even neighboring areas in Virginia to join us in cultivating a love for learning and the environment.

Are you passionate about working with children and inspired by nature-based learning? Wild Sprouts is seeking part-time and substitute teachers to join our team in creating a nurturing, farm-based educational environment for young learners.

As a teacher at Wild Sprouts, you'll:

Lead or assist in engaging, hands-on lessons centered around nature, farm life, and early childhood education.

Foster creativity, exploration, and social-emotional growth in a supportive outdoor classroom.

Collaborate with a team of educators who share your enthusiasm for connecting children to the natural world.

This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible scheduling, with class hours from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and options to work 1-3 days a week or on a substitute basis.
