
Wholesale Supplier Outreach Intern
Description:
We are looking for a motivated Wholesale Supplier Outreach Intern to support our growing Amazon e-commerce business. This internship provides hands-on experience in supplier outreach, negotiation, and e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying, contacting, and establishing relationships with wholesale suppliers and distributors to source profitable products for resale on Amazon.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct online research to identify potential wholesale suppliers and distributors.
- Assist in contacting suppliers via phone and email to gather information on pricing, terms,
- and partnership opportunities.
- Maintain and update a supplier database, tracking communication progress.
- Support in obtaining price lists, product catalogs, and availability details from suppliers.
- Ensure supplier compliance with Amazon’s policies and regulations.
- Assist in negotiating deals to secure competitive pricing and margins.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to finalize potential supplier partnerships.
- Monitor supplier performance and market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities.
Requirements:
- Strong research skills and ability to efficiently search for wholesale suppliers online.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Comfortable with making cold calls and establishing professional relationships.
- Basic understanding of Amazon wholesale and FBA business models is a plus.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, email, and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
