Job Description:

LKC Technologies is searching for a summer intern to assist in projects for our RETeval® medical device.
The selected candidate will assist in automating test procedures, streamlining data collection procedures, and aiding in implementing new and interesting device features.
This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the medical industry as well as a chance to enhance your technical skills through solving real problems while learning industry standards from senior mentors.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand test procedures and requirements.
- Design and implement automation solutions using Arduino or Raspberry Pi to streamline bench testing processes.
- Analyze and report test results.
- Identify opportunities for improving test processes.

Skills & Requirements

Required:

- Python/C/C++ programming experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Desired:

- GitHub portfolio or other accessible code samples
- Interest in human vision and diseases of the retina
- Experience with microcontrollers
- Unix/Linux background
