Office Administrator

We are a sheet metal and anchor fabrication business with a specialty in commercial construction products including building envelope waterproofing, masonry anchors and roofing. Cheney is a family owned and operated business. We are seeking a detail oriented individual to help run the daily front office operations for our Beltsville, MD factory.

The right candidate would be able to help handle all aspects of the business including:

daily front office operations
managing customer relationships
inventory management and raw material purchasing
accessing QuickBooks (i.e. quoting projects, tracking receivables and payables, etc…)
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:

willingness to work and learn in both an office and factory setting
ability to interact with a variety of personnel and communicate effectively
strong attention to detail
strategic mindset with a focus on efficiency
computer proficiency
interest in small business, manufacturing, construction, and/or business optimization
In addition, the following attributes would be a plus:

Proficiency with QuickBooks
Understanding of accounting principles
General understanding of masonry / construction / engineering / architecture industry(s)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
